Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 15 August 2026
1. Who we are
Podiumchef ("the Service") is provided by Jimmi Eriksson Gastronomi AB, a company registered in Sweden, trading as "Podiumchef" ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you enter into an agreement with Jimmi Eriksson Gastronomi AB. You can reach us at support@podiumchef.com.
2. The product
Podiumchef is a web application for competition chefs and their teams: recipe management, parallel kitchen timers, mise en place lists, time schedules, shared galleries, competition profiles, deadline tracking and AI-assisted reading of competition documents. Access is provided on a subscription basis in the plan you select.
3. Acceptance
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a business or team, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation; if you use it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age to enter into a contract.
4. Your account
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Team plans may only be used by the number of members included in the purchased plan.
5. Licence and restrictions
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected. You must not reverse engineer the Service, resell or redistribute access, or circumvent technical or plan limits.
6. Acceptable use / misuse
You must not use the Service:
- for any unlawful purpose or in breach of applicable law;
- for fraud, spam or other deceptive activity;
- to infringe intellectual property or other rights of third parties;
- to interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including uploading malware, probing, scanning, penetration testing or scraping without our written permission.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the recipes, images, lists, documents and other content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, store and process that content solely in order to provide the Service to you and your team. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you upload.
8. AI features
Some features use AI to interpret uploaded competition documents and recipes and to extract dates and structured information. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and must always be verified against the original competition documents. AI output is not professional, legal or regulatory advice. You are responsible for your inputs, for having the rights to the material you upload, and for how you use the output. You must not use AI features to generate unlawful content. We may filter, restrict or remove content and suspend accounts that repeatedly misuse these features, and rights holders may contact us at the address above to request removal of infringing material.
9. Intellectual property
We retain all ownership of the Service and everything in it, including software, design, documentation, brand names and logos. Nothing in these Terms transfers our intellectual property to you.
10. Service level
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates and factors outside our control may cause downtime.
11. Payment and subscription terms
Subscriptions are sold with a 14-day trial and renew automatically for the selected period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account in the app. Prices are shown in EUR and taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- you materially breach these Terms;
- payment fails or a subscription is not paid;
- there is a security, fraud or legal risk associated with the account;
- you repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules.
Where reasonable and lawful, we will notify you first. After termination you may request an export of your content within 30 days, after which it may be deleted.
13. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under law.
14. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in the app before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Swedish law, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it in connection with a merger, acquisition or reorganisation. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
